When a player leaves the world in a doorway, and then joins back again, they spawn on top of the doorway. This also happens when players other than the host join, but they do it all the time. Not just when in a doorway.

If you have any new information, please post it to MCPE-7037.
Confirmed on Samsung Galaxy S4 (phone) Android 5.0.1 running MCPE 0.11.1 in survival and creative modes.
This is a specific case of the bug (MCPE-8717) where you always appear (on loading your world) 1 block above wherever you last quit. When that block is solid (such as when you quit in a door with a solid block above it), you appear at the next available 2 block space moving upward from where you should have spawned.
You can easily observe the "spawn 1 block too high" bug using 3rd person view when you load. You'll see your player appear and drop 1 block to the floor. When I have a bit more time, I'll link these tickets together and assign one to the developers.
You can easily test the bug by quiting with 1 (or more) block(s) above you and you'll spawn in the next vertically available 2-block space.
What I expected to happen: player would spawn at the same place he or she left (the block same block as the door).
