What exact error messages, etc are you seeing? Is either device able to join on its own?

There isn't an error message, if one device is on the realm then the other will be loading indefinitely when it tries to join.

What specific devices are you using? If either has access to mobile or if the same devices are on different wifi networks does it work then?

I was not able to reproduce using an Xbox and iPad on the same wifi, but might be specific to Android.

One device is android and one is nintendo switch

We have not been able to reproduce this issue, including testing with an Android and Switch on the same network. This may be an issue with your network setup. You might visit the Minecraft Community Support Discord to see if anyone can help.
