Double or tripple tap for opening settings and play menu, can’t scroll down

Not sure if this is only me or if the issue appeared because I downloaded an Addon, but ca. 12:00 am i got into the game and wanted to activate the addon in the settings, had to double and even tripple tap in order for the menu to open and couldn’t scroll down. Same thing happened when opening a world: if I tried to select a weapon or another material, had to double or tripple tap. Re-started device (iPad Air 2), deleted Addon from the minecraft files, problem persisted. Also, a little bit laggy, device got very hot.
