Doors can be used as an elevator.

This issue affects all versions 0.9.0 and higher.

If you place a door, open it and close it inside yourself and quit the game and join back, it will teleport you to the top of the door, and if there are blocks, it will teleport you onto the highest block. This does indeed work in multiplayer and singleplayer.
