Today (July 6 2020) I logged on to my world like any other and then after an hour or two my neighborhood power went down (Galt, CA) and I thought well I'll loose an hour of progress so once everything started working again I went on Minecraft and I click on the world and it says it's corrupted I'm not blaming you guys for anything but I just wanted to put this out there cause if your game does crash or power goes out you might loose your world you spent so long on and it's kinda sad that I have to restart a year of progress but it's fine I just don't want anyone else to have this happen so make more than one backup before you go into a world.
