Leaving The Nether And Going Back To The Overworld Sometimes Doesn't Take Me Back To The Original Portal And Creates And Sends Me To A New Portal In The Overworld. Sometimes It Also Damages or Destroys My Stuff That Iv'e Built.

What are the coordinates of both portals? It can happen that original nether portal couldn't be created in proper, matching coordinates because there was no place for it (i.e. the place is covered in lava), and it was moved to first available spot.

It also happened in my maps too. It create a new portal beside the bugged portal in overworld after destroying it.

The exact same thing happened to me. A new portal was created even though i didn’t break the original portal
