Wandering villager has no hands

The wandering villager has no hands. At first from a distance it appears to be normal, but when you come close to him (with any item in hand or none) his hands disappear but when you go back away from him his hands are normal again.(It doesn't happen every time you come close to him, it happens after 2-4 tries.)
