Minecraft crashes on the mojang loading screen

me too! the app keeps crashing (very early on) and when it does work, it’s quite glitchy. i am also “stuck in bed”, meaning whenever i go into my world i am automatically in bed, screen dark. if i try to leave the app will glitch and shut out. unplayable now for me too

me too. I even re-installed windows and it does still crash on fresh new install without any customization.

I'm not sure what info would help to progress this issue, but maybe it is related to the graphic card? I'm using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

Have tried on a completely different computer (Toshiba R700 laptop, new win 10 pro install), still crashes the same way.

There is no clear indication what is happening. I've bought Minecraft in May, it stopped working in June, I've just installed latest version (it's end of August) and it is still not working. Is this being worked on? When is this expected to be fixed? This is a very frustrating experience.
