Upon the release of the nether update 1.16.1 bedrock edition for windows 10, the game will function perfectly for a couple of minutes, and upon opening a chest or your inventory, the game will freeze, from there you manually have to exit the game and launch Minecraft bedrock 1.16.1

Yes it is the same for me, have to manually exit the game to try again. Only happened after recent update for the nether.
