No mobs are spawning and rarely any animals, close to none at all. when i switch to peaceful more animals spawn but besides anything else i cant see a single creeper or skeleton i saw one zombie in like a thousand blocks but thats all
weve built alot here and i dont wanna make another world ;/

I am having this same issue. I can't find any hostile mobs naturally. I can only find them in the nether, rarely, or near mob spawners. I cant find creepers, skeletons, spiders, zombies, slimes, or witches. They just don't spawn in my world. I have stood completely still at night and in caves and not a single mob spawns. This is really unfortunate, as I can't get gunpowder or find zombies to change villagers. I need this fixed for my world to continue.
