Playing single player, on my own world (not realms) In survival peaceful mode, last night. I misjudged a jump and died a stupid death on the edge of a river out the front of my house. I respawned in my house, approximately 30 blocks away. Ran back outside to collect my inventory and nothing was there. I lost a full inventory of dark oak planks, glass, buckets, but most importantly, my Diamond “God level“ enchantment Silk Touch shovel, Silk Touch Pickaxe, Fortune Pickaxe and Axe. Why would all my gear despawn immediately on my death?
