Invalid skin glitch

Recently, something weird has happened to me with my Minecraft skins. I usually try to import skins I find online or make myself, and after the update came out I attempted to change from my old imported skin to a new one. When I tried though, the skin showed up blank when it asked what style of arms I wanted. I assumed it just wasn't showing up and selected one of them, but then the skin in the skin creator was also invisible. I tried to go into a world because I assumed the skin was just not showing up but it told me my skin was invalid, so I tried restarting the game but that didn't work either. So then I tried changing back to my old skin, but that still didn't work. Deleting and reinstalling the game also didn't fix anything, so now I can only use skins I've made using the Minecraft skin creator. Please fix this!! I would like to use the skins I've made outside the app
