The bug
When you use a compass on a lodestone in creative mode, the compass gets replaced like in survival mode. On java edition, you will get a new compass and keep the old one.
How to reproduce:
Place a lodestone
Use a compass on it in creative mode
❌ The old compass is gone and got replaced with the lodestone compass.
