I was in the Nether and returned to the overworld. I then discovered my house was partly very dark. It was sunshine, and my house is lighted with torches.
I also discovered an incorrect light level on a nearby crop farm and below a tree.
The problem disappeared when I quit and reloaded Minecraft.
