ive been getting 15 villagers but then i come back and there all gone except like 3 but now its down to 1

I'm having the same issue. Happened in 2 villages. Had 10 villagers, next time I logged in they were all gone but 1. Moved to second village, the same thing happened. I noticed there was a wandering trader as well that was not there before
