I was flying with my elytra and I died due to fall damage then when I tried to respawn, it was glitched at the red screen. So I closed out Minecraft on my phone then logged back in and I went to get my loot and it was not there.

I had the same problem, me and my friend were playing together and i slaid him for a joke then he's items despawnd right after (like 0.0 seconds after) he was slain

This also happened to me. I was strip mining with my diamond tools and died in gravel, the game crashed and all my loot was gone
