I recently bought and downloaded Minecraft Windows 10 Edition (since I already have MCPE on my tablet) 2 days ago, and joined the beta for it aswell, and I just started experiencing a hit issue on mobs from Minecraft itself, and mobs from addons. Basically, the issue is that anytime I try hitting a mob, from either Minecraft, or addons for it, after giving myself strength through chat commands, the hits don't register whatsoever. I'm pretty sure this happens once I do, /effect @s strength 600 1. Speaking of which I just tried again, and it worked this time, but the last time I did that exact chat command, it didn't register the hits. However though, it occurs 100% of the time when I do, /effect @s strength 1000000 255 through chat commands. I don't know of it occurs randomly, or just for certain seconds and amplifiers you decide to have the effect on you. Can you guys please fix this? Keep in mind I did these in creative, in an infinite world.

Forgot to mention that everytime the command doesn't register hits when I have it applied to me, I have to do /kill @e.
