My controller is connected to my device but I cannot map the keys in the game.

I paired my dualshock 3 controller with my phone and it works perfectly with other apps except minecraft. The d-pad, left and right stick does the same thing, which is move forward, backwards, and strafe left and right. None of the other keys does anything and I cannot map them from the In-game controller options.
