Renaming enchanted items using an anvil is too expensive for the following items:
Diamond Axe
Netherite Sword (already renamed before)
Netherite Helmet
Netherite Boots
Bow
Does this only happen on a realm or does the same issue occur in a local copy of the world? Yes
Do you know how many times each item has been worked on using the Anvil? *Some of them are 1-2 times on renaming.
This issue started to occur yesterday. The last time I renamed an item was August 28, it is a bow.
We are still encountering it as of now September 17.

You answered "yes" to the question about occurring on a realm or a local copy, but it is unclear which of the two choices "yes" applies to. Please be specific.
Also, what enchantments are already on the items you are trying to rename, and how were those applied? For example, if they were applied from 3 or 4 separate books on the anvil, that will increase the cost for the next anvil use on that item.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete.
