Realm I own became incredibly laggy after 0kb update for minecraft

Basically tried to log on my minecraft realm that I've had for a few weeks now with my friends and the realm ran smoothly there was no issue, the problem began when minecraft required a 0kb update for the game and refused to let you on until it was downloaded. The update itself didn't download or finish no matter the percentage and practically crashed the game and my console till I eventually after many restarts got the update removed, managed to get back on the game and realm only to be met with an incredibly laggy and choppy realm that practically is unplayable, it has nothing to do with my Internet as im connect to the router with a cable and nothing to do with players as im the only one who managed to get minecraft to work after that virus like update so the realm itself is sadly done for till this issue gets resolved, ive unsubscribed from the realm plus till further notice so I wont be charged for a realm that doesn't work or a game that can't be played because of this update.
