I am playing on a 2 player BEDROCK realm and both me and my friend are having this problem. every time we try to pillar up / build up we cant make it past atleast 3 blocks before we lag into the block we just placed and get pushed out into a random direction.
this makes the simple essential part of the game impossible without frustration.
would be great to get some clarification on this issue without it being listed as resolved and ignored even though it quite clearly isn't

This happens to anyone with enough lag, the game cannot register the fact that you both jumped and placed a block so it thinks you're in the block and simply pushes you out.
