Can’t connect to realm in preview with resource pack

So I downloaded a addon to a preview realm because I enjoy the new pbr lighting and wanted to enjoy them with friends however all this resource pack does is remove the text from the top of your screen it isn’t game breaking in the slightest as I can play this on my own worlds just fine but when I try to connect with any resource pack that disables beta preview text installed it never connects

Step 1 activate any beta text removal to a realms resource pack there’s tons online I’ve tried 2 different ones

Step 2 try to connect

Step 3 is patiently wait until it boots you out for failing to connect

Observed result: A long connection until eventually getting a “couldn’t connect to realm”

Expected result: To connect right to realm just like a single player world with preview data hidden
