guardian appearing on land, food rapid depletion, and mobs targeting me in large numbers

After joining my friends minecraft realms, I noticed my food bar will go green. The meats symbols turn into rotten looking variants and the food depletes from full health to 0 within 3 seconds. This happened continuously no matter what I did. I never got poisoned. But I would take damage because of the depletion.

I had a guardian appeare in front of my screen twice, as if I entered their territory. But I was on land with the nearest ocean literally 1000 blocks away.

I also noticed that large quantities of one particular mob will spawn right near me and they all target me but decide to ignore the host player of the realm. Creepers will chase me and ignor him even after he tried getting it's attention to keep it away. I also got surrounded by skeletons in my own house after walking away from the game for a mins to use the bathroom. When I came back, I was shot dead by 5 skeletons that suddenly appeared there. I have plenty of lighting and all entrances closed but they still appeared in mass numbers around me. It's near impossible to enjoy the realms experience when these things are literally constantly happening without fail. It's very unusual considering I've played the game for many years and none of these things have ever happened like this before. It's bizarre. A few mins later I walk out of my build and there are 5 creepers all around my front door. I found a village where there were villagers but also around 20 zombies that suddenly appeared just out side the village. The number of these spawns are crazy.
