The word “Jews” gets censored just like swear words or slurs, as if it itself were a bad word. I don’t think I need to explain why this is bad, but just so everyone understands: the word “Christians” does NOT get censored. Yes, there is a lot of antisemitism out there, but the way to deal with that is not by stopping the word Jews from even being allowed on multiplayer Minecraft. This just further stigmatises an already stigmatised community. I have no doubt that this is NOT intended behaviour.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Use the word “Jews” in a multiplayer server - it will not appear or be censored in signed books, chat messages, etc
Expected result:
“Jews” is not a slur or bad word, but simply an ethnic and religious description that people, including (and perhaps especially) Jews themselves would want to use to express their identity, religion etc
Actual result:
“Jews” gets censored as if it were a slur
the censoring system in general needs an update. doing ANYTHING in latin is painful because of multiple words being bad (or wrongthink) words in many languiges,.
