Minecraft Realms Invitation Error Report

Dear Minecraft Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue I'm experiencing with my Minecraft Realms, specifically regarding player invitations.

Description

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Open Minecraft Java Edition (Version 1.21.5).

2. Navigate to "Minecraft Realms" and select my active Realm.

3. Attempt to invite a friend to the Realm using their exact player name, bota_moti, by typing it into the invitation field.

4. Confirm the invitation.

Expected result

The player with the exact username bota_moti should receive and be able to accept the invitation to my Realm.

Actual result

Despite carefully typing bota_moti, a different, unknown player named Bota_Moti (distinguished only by the capitalization of the first letter) is invited instead. The intended friend, bota_moti, never receives the invitation.

Additional Information

• Minecraft Edition: Java Edition

• Minecraft Version: 1.21.5 (for both me and the invited friend)

• I have already ensured that the player name bota_moti is typed correctly, paying close attention to case sensitivity.
