Extremely laggy and glitchy since update

My 2 player realm has been lagging very badly since the update. It is the same on Nintendo and iOS. I will place blocks, only for them to immediately disappear. Mined blocks don’t immediately drop anymore, and there is a delay from the controller input to the mining animation in-game. When I eat food, it plays the animation and the sound, but the food meter doesn’t go up, and the food from my inventory isn’t actually consumed. Items also take a while to be picked up.
