Minecraft Bedrock Realm players experience high delay in-game

I hope you have a wonderful day! Regarding my problem, whenever me or my friends join the realm that we have created, we experience a 3-4 second delay between our actions. For example, when we attempt to hit another entity, it takes it about 3 seconds before it finally shows the animation of it being hit. Another example is that whenever we try to eat anything in the game, it shows the animation, but nor the hunger bars increase, neither the food number is decreased. It kind of behaves like the ping is very high. I am sure that it is not from my side, though, because I am NOT the only one that plays in the realm with this problem. What I noticed that could be the problem is that, whenever I join the realm, it says “ Server Region: France”. I do not want to uncover my location, but I can say that France is not that close to my country. I also noticed that this location systematically changes to other regions, such as The Netherlands. Maybe it is a problem from… the Minecraft Servers side? We have been having this problem for the past 3-4 days, which makes the game unplayable. Just for clearance, I am NOT the realm owner.
