Nether Portals connecting over any distance

Every time we make a nether portal it connects to the first one made even over large distance (e.g 500-1000 blocks) has happened before and after copper age update, removing portal does not fix the issue, and makes nether ice roads impossible between bases as only one portal exists in the nether
