I pay for a Realm for my 3 friends and I, and have very few addons added to it, have removed all of them and still no fix. placing blocks do not render, eating food does the animation but doesnt actually eat food until like 2-3 sometimes 4 times eating the same food. lags so badly we can hardly play, when im alone on the realm it works fine for maybe about 45min to an hour. and IF one or more joins it instantly lags unbearably. i saw on reddit people said to remove addons and we did and still no use. PLEASE FIX IT MOJANG!

I’ve had many people on without issues. Some things to keep in mind that might help.
How many animals / mobs you have in the loaded area. Less is better.
How much redstone is set up.
automated systems that require a lot loading in chunks can cause that kind of lag.
And over all world size explored. You can reduce this with some external tools (if you can get the world to download)
another option is to use a server and run it yourself instead of a realm. For more than a few people this can be a much better cost to performance solution.
