I am trying to make a compact copper golem item sorter. Simply stating, my copper golems won’t open the accessible copper chest anymore (the copper chest that is closest to them) when there is another copper chest within their range. The copper golems cannot access this other copper chest. However, now they never stop trying to path find to that second copper chest. They stop doing anything at this point, forever. they never will open the accessible copper chest next to them. I think this is a bug because it makes copper golems useless if you have any nearby copper chests that you don’t want them to access. For example, I could not make the simplest copper golem sorter (a copper chest and a regular chest) in my storage room because in my adjacent bedroom, I had a copper chest placed for decor/interior design.
To work properly, the copper golems should determine when it can’t access the copper chest it locked onto and then it should reset its search. once the search is reset it should then pick the closest copper chest that is accessible.
Environment
I had my copper golems in minecarts so they could not move. a block next to the copper golem cart was the desired copper chest they could access. they also had chests near they can filter into (all 10). about 10 blocks away, I have a separate copper chest. once functioning before this copper chest was place, now the copper golems lock onto it becoming non-functional.
