Me and my friends realm world keeps having an issue where the world will randomly crash for everyone and reverse 10-25 minutes of progress. this issue has persisted despite a bug fix update.

We are tracking this issue at MCPE-224638, so I will resolve and link this ticket as a duplicate.
This EXACT same thing happened to me and caused me to lose hours of gameplay.
One thing I noticed, with me at least, is that it only happened in newer areas. I can play in my old locations, but when I try to go beyond what has been generated, it crashes after 10-20 minutes and I lose all of my gameplay for that session.
I wonder if this is caused by the new way the game has been rendering locations lately. After this update, it has been slowing the game down and it has become increasingly hard to play.
