When I click “Play” and then go to the realms to try and join (I don’t own the realm but the person who does checked and their subscription is still active), the section is stuck on the spinning loading symbol and won’t pop up anything to join. I read on other sites that other players seem to be reporting similar issues. I’ve tried restarting my minecraft 3 times and also tried logging in and out of my microsoft account before loading as well.

No fix Sadly enough. Exact same problem here… and this happens on a pretty regular occasion too.. I’d be better off renting a java server or something else. It’s ridiculous cause there’s also no compensation.
I own a realm that I purchased a subscription for a few days ago, and I can confirm that I have the same error where I'm stuck loading the realms and they won't load. I've tried everything, including installing and uninstalling, and nothing works.
