Resource packs not loading when joining a friend's realm with add-ons

When joining a friend’s realm that has the Better on Bedrock add-on (which requires a resource pack) and the Rust resource pack, my textures are not loading. When I open the settings when inside the realm, I can see that both texture packs are active, but their icon is a glitched texture (see screenshots). I have not had this issue before and played on the realm a few days ago with no issues. The realm admin did not change anything.
