Realms disconnecting, resetting progress after saves

My bf and I recently made a new forever world on a realm, so that I can play on the server when he isn't up to Minecraft. It has been about 2 months since getting the realm, we have a few addons. Things went well on the realm until I started playing without him, me being the only player on the server at the time. When I would save and exit, it seems like the game didn't save the actual progress I had made and would roll it back. It’s been happening for about a month. We also have been getting disconnected from the server here since the baby update
