A little before the Tiny Takeover update, and much more common since the update, Realms have been unplayable. I have a realm with around 10 players (none of us are ever on at the same time) and each of us has encountered major issues.
To begin with, the Lag is insane, you play for about 10 minutes, and all of a sudden a chest you just opened is not shutting after youve exited. You then move, and it'll take a couple minutes to move your character. Its insane!
Secondly, once the lag starts to kick in, it will be a couple minutes after that, that you either disconnect, or Minecraft itself crashes. Even after following what the Minecraft Support Website says to do.
Upon fully closing Minecraft, Reopening, and loading into the realm, all progress you made in 10 minutes is reset. Nothing you can do about it. No saves, regardless of whether you “save & quit” before it crashes, or not.
Thirdly, the Server regions!! Im travelling all over the world apparently. It is set to be automatic, whoever joins first will get their closest server region, as we have some players in the UK, US, and Hawaii. Whilst I am based in the UK, it seems to have connected to a number of different places when it is just me online. For example, United Arab Emirates, France, and The Netherlands (pictures attached). Very strange as normally it'll connect to South East England or Ireland…
We don't pay for unplayable realms! Please fix & address this Mojang 🙏 😔
