Realms update not working

Basically I purchased a realms plus membership, and when I join the realms world it shows me the “realms will soon be updated” and that I may need an update. When I press the check store, it redirects me to a blank page with some coding file, and when I check the App Store, there are no updates. When I press continue, it loads forever and doesn’t let me back out. I’ve tried forever and this doesn’t happen to my friends. What can I do?
