Dappled Forest created in Already loaded chunks

Upon logging back into my friend’s realm after updating the game to the most recent version. I found that the area surrounding my home had been turned into a dappled forest (originally a plains biome with a few hills). The landscape has remained the same but the poplar trees have appeared half-loaded in random chunks. attached are pictures of trees being cut of by the edge of a chunk, they only appeared after this update was installed. the last picture shows how the brown hue has affected the surrounding area and practically scarred the ground.
