Broken Light Sources

All light sources-torches, lanterns, glowstone, lava, everything giving off light-loses all light level on a periodic basis in chuck-sized areas extending infinitely upwards and downwards.  It appears to happen once every week on the weekend, possibly during server updates or something Saturday 00:00.  This unacceptable bug requires players to replace every single light source by hand.
