Boats that I get into disappear shortly after getting out of them. There doesn't seem to be a collision, they're just not there anymore.
It might have to do with me mashing the space bar shortly after pressing the CTRL button (to get out of the boat). I do this so I can attempt to jump out of the boat and not get stuck as usual, which is a secondary problem of course.
Ctrl, then rapidly and shortly afterward spacebar (jump) mashing + trying to move forward
I'm always in open water when doing so; not up against a block.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-101247, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. The fix is already available in the latest version of the game (1.15.1).
If you haven't already, you might like to make use of the search feature in the future to see if the issue has already been reported.

Mine though does not happen in the realms, it happens on game. (I hope you understand, but this is the closest description of the problem that is similar to mine) Upon riding or entering the boat and rowing for a few minutes and disembarking the boat it dissapears. POOF!! I haven't tried it on other mobs than can be ridden, but that's what happen. It can be irritating because it leaves you stranded in the middle of the ocean and a drowned catches up to you and your dead. I'm sorry, thank you in advance. This a video showing a boat dissapearinv after disembarking the boat, the boat was found again after re-entering the game.
