Signs disappear completely on Java realms

All of the signs placed on my realm in java turned invisible when the realm was updated to 1.14.4. I can still hover over them and see their hitbox, but I cant read them or see the wood. I have tried relogging and restarting my computer and minecraft, but the result remains. I have also tried destroying and replacing the signs only to see that the text and everything in the sign interface to be invisible too. It has happened all across the world, not just in a specific chunk also.
