As shown in photo. The pistons are unpowered. I checked underneath and it's not powered either. The pistons do not retract until I manually give them a block update.

I experienced the same issue, but on a larger scale. All redstone contraptions were not working after being activated once. On said day, I reuploaded world and this fixed the issue.

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-108, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved. That means that this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
