Npcs not going around cocoa bean pods

I Play on Minecraft realms on my Xbox one and mobile device, and I have been having an issue with cats, llamas, villagers, iron golems, and other entities running into and never mapping around cocoa bean pods growing on jungle wood. I have set up pillars to farm as many as possible, however, the npcs just keep running into them and getting stuck. In the attached picture, you can see a cat, llama, pig, and iron golems stuck.
