The Mojang loading screen appears excessively joining Realms

The Mojang loading screen is appearing way too much when I simply join my Realm. (Apart from personally questioning the point of it in the first place) When I join a Realm minigame that happens to use a resource pack, it shows the loading screen at the most 4 times. Once when I accept the use of the resource pack, once when the resource pack question fades into the loading screen, once when I join the game, and another as I either try to start the game, or wait long enough for it to appear. It also displays it after I leave the Realm, which I don't know if that's intentional or not but I felt I should also mention it because it just feels off to me.

Here's my evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTceuCJEDmg

However, if you wait long enough after clicking yes on the resource pack screen, it will connect you to the server, even though it's seemingly still waiting for you to accept the resource pack. Also, sometimes when I leave the Realm, I start back in the menu of the multiplayer tab, not Minecraft Realms.

I'm getting this, too. The final loading screen after downloading the resource pack causes a rapid disconnect and reconnect, after which the resource pack is removed. This extra load screen happens after the player has connected and was able to move around (and use the resource pack) for a few seconds.

Occasionally this results in "ghost" players who can move around the world and observe what's happening but can't chat or interact with anything. They also fall through the world without any collision if they're switched out of spectator mode.
