I've got a realm on my switch that I run with others. Recently I noticed that guardians are spawning in rivers and lakes faaaar from the ocean, let alone an ocean monument

We have:
Java mob spawning
Vanilla tweaks for bedrock
And red dragon elytra wings
I will test on a single player copy of the world and let you know if it is still happening
This does not happen on a single player copy of the world. However, if I make a copy of that exact realm, the guardians are there. Starting a new world using the exact same seed does not yield guardians in the rivers and lakes around the locations they are spawning on the realm
If you turn off / remove the "Java mob spawning" mod does it work then?
Are you completely sure that they are really guardians and it is not a texture issue where the guardian texture might be getting applies to a different mob, such as a squid? Easy way to test would be to kill one and see what drops you get.
For me they are real guardians, the drop prismarine shards, or there may be an ocean monument in the sea caves
Thank you for your report!
However, this issue is Invalid.
If you are using a mod pack (Java mob spawning) that alters the spawning behavior of the world then this would not be considered a bug. Feel free to create a new ticket if you can get the same behavior to occur in an unmodified version of the game.

Does it also happen on a single-player copy of the world?
Do you have any mod packs, commands, etc and if so, exactly which ones?
