We have chests that half of them is invisible. While they are invisible you can open them but can not put in or take from them. This also causes shulkers to be invisible. It is sometimes fixed by logging but not always. We are permanently missing at least 4 shulkers that went invisible and never returned.

I've had this similar bug 3 times. 3 different chests. One side of a 'double chest' goes invisible. If I try to access the invisible side it crashes the realm and loads a backup.
I fixed the first chest by destroying it.
I also have mobs that disappear and attack me.

I, too, am experiencing this issue. Double chests have one of the chests invisible. When I open the visible chest, I see no items. When I click on the invisible chest, the game crashes completely. Logging off of the game & back on does not resolve the issue with the missing chests. This never happened in the years I have been playing Minecraft until after the latest update.
