My game constantly crashes when accessing inventory or chest. Also blocks lag in breaking/moving or placing

The game has been crashing or not loading lately very often as of the last two weeks. It play on the Nintendo Switch, not sure if the console cant keep up with the game it is more likely to crash if a lot of mobs are loaded. However it can be brought on from continued play/building for about an hour or so. Sometimes it's the lag in placing/removing or moving blocks (opening/closing doors). However most of the time accessing your inventory or chest can bring it on right away with a slow loading bar which inevitably leads to the game crashing or further lagging more. Rarely does the game go back to being playable without a restart. 

What I expected to happen was...:
When I payed for the realm subscription I figured all lag and most crashes would be removed or at least better maintained. The crash happens from simple building, no Redstone involved or hostile mobs because I would have it in peaceful while building.

I didn't think I would have to restart the game to continue playing or not be able to access my inventory of chest. Also when mining/placing blocks/operating doors it would be nice to know if the action happened on time especially when you could mine out multiple blocks before the game catches up or forces you to restart. All of which are essential parts of the game.

What actually happened was...:
The game would lag behind and not show the actions performed on time and/or would bring up the loading bar which would either crash the game/continue the lag/ or crash the game entirely. 

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build or mine continuously for over an hour OR simply run a mob farm OR Redstone contraptions for 20 minutes give or take.
2. Either the game starts to lag behind by now with block placement/removal/operation OR accessing your inventory or chest would cause the loading screen bar to pop up (sometimes waiting it out for a few minutes lets the game catch up but it ends up being faster to just restart and reload the whole game at that point)
3. Cry out of frustration and ponder on how you would improve your world while the game reloads and pray you get a few hours of play time before it happens all over again.

I believe this started happening before the recent update and I was hoping it would've been resolved by this one. I love the game and I genuinely hope this gets fixed soon because playing like this is simply inefficient.
