[REALMS-6401] Cannot connect to Realms

I loaded Minecraft on a new Amazon Fire tablet, and it’s refusing my connection to the Realms server or even to sign into my account.

Are you still having this issue?
Have you tried logging out of your account and back in?
Are you still getting the same message? If not, what exact message is shown?
