When I tried to use powered rails on my playstation realm server the cart just wobbled back and forth when on the powered rail. When i tried using a button to power the rail rather than a redstone torch the same issue comes up.

Are you sure you are using a powered rail and not an activator rail? If so, please attach a screenshot showing the rails.
