Phasing into walls causing death and disappearing equipment

While using the iOS version of the Pocket Edition, for the 2nd time now I have phased into a wall inside of someone's build (not sand or gravel) and died, AND all of my loot disappears into the wall. This doesn't happen on Xbox but has twice now on mobile and honestly I'm absolutely destroyed. I lost literally so much. I don't even care about the 5+ enchantments diamond pickaxe/armor + crossbow.. more than anything I'm absolutely destroyed about losing my elytra😞 I worked so hard to get that thing for weeks and at this point without any of my diamond enchanted equipment, I have no idea how I'm going to get another one. I honestly want to quit the entire game at this point because I didn't even die fairly. It's not like I fell in lava or off the edge or anything that was my fault. A bug killed me and despawned all of my stuff and no one else in the server could even collect it. Now I'm completely de motivated to continue to put time and work into a game that could just randomly destroy all of my progress at any moment
