I own a realm and I gave a few of my friends operator commands. However they can’t change other players permissions no matter what device they are on. Only the owner can. This is a bug, and is very hard to manage a server when the only person who can switch perms is the owner. They can’t switch players with member perm to visitor, or visitor to member etc.

This is not currently possible for technical reasons, but I'd love to give non-owner operators more moderation abilities in the future.
The fact that operator permissions are not working at all (not even /op and /deop commands) is a HUGE BUG. It must be resolved ASAP since it is a BUG not a feature request. Right now operators have no extra permissions compared to members when cheat are disabled on the realm, which does not make any sense. I got a realms with more than 20 members, and every time someone new joins our server they need to wait for the owner to log in which could take days although we have at least 2 operators online at all time. Please, fix it as soon as you can!
Steps to reproduce
open the pause menu
Click on a player's username
click on their permissions
excepted results
Players permission settings should show and you should have the ability to switch them to visitor, or member.
result
Their permission tab won’t open even though the player has operator permissions
here are two videos of two different versions. 1 is mobile, the other is on xbox.
you can see in both videos the person cannot access the person’s permissions to switch them despite having the operator permission. When I do it (i’m the owner) it works perfectly fine.
